I have enjoyed working with pen, and ink as I like the smoothness, and glossiness that the ink creates on the paper. It can be used in a wide variety of sketches by using different colors, and pen tips to create thin and bold lines. Very small tips can help with shading, and the wider tips for outlines and different types of curves. This is commonly present in calligraphy as seen in the old English style of lettering. However these same pen tips used for calligraphy can aid in creating different line forms in sketching.
